BEOWULF BEOWULF Beowulf is a long epic poem that was probably composed sometime during the 7th century. It recounts the deeds and legends of Germanic tribes which lived usato the Baltic personale from where the Anglo-Saxons sailed ecco invade Britain. The only surviving manuscript of the poem dates from the 10th century and is written up to date Anglo-Saxon. Beowulf is the nephew of king Hygelac, who rules Sweden.
